i keep this site simple. here's what i collect, why, and how to reach me about it.
› what i collect
- google analytics: cookies and anonymized usage data, so i can see what readers find useful
- newsletter email addresses, only if you submit the subscribe form
- standard server logs from cloudflare (ip, user-agent, request path) used for security and debugging
that's it. no fingerprinting, no third-party ad networks, no remarketing pixels.
› what i don't do
- i don't sell, rent, or share your data
- i don't run ads
- i don't load third-party trackers beyond google analytics
› opting out
- block cookies or run an ad blocker; the site works fine without analytics
- install google's official opt-out browser add-on if you want to disable ga everywhere
- to leave the newsletter, click the unsubscribe link in any email
› your rights
depending on where you live (gdpr, ccpa, etc.) you can request:
- a copy of any personal data i hold about you
- deletion of that data
- correction of inaccurate data
